During the month of November, NCTS will focus on our series of special episodes dealing with the Gilbert Theater’s history, and that of its founder, Lynn Pryer.
In this episode Lynn discusses one of his favorite plays performed at the Gilbert Theater in its early days, “The Club.”

In “The Club,” by Eve Merriam, members of a stuffy, all male club, circa 1905, tap dance and sing fourteen songs of the era, all indicative of male smugness and superiority. All of the parts were played by women.

As always, we ask that you listen and share.
