This is the second part of a series of episodes dedicated to documenting the history of Fayetteville’s Gilbert Theater, as well as its founder, Lynn Pryer. Last week Lynn discussed his life growing up during World War II, and his discovery of live theatre, while this week we delve into the story of Lynn’s first love, and his struggle with coming into terms with being gay in the 1960s.

This episode and next weeks may be an important listen for any teens or adults within the LGBT community who may be facing their own struggles.
